Websites

Learning about the holy people who lived in our modern world and yet were not of the world is, to say the least, inspiring. It is not at all surprising yet still amazing to observe the incredible and extraordinary things that God continues to do in and through the lives of ordinary human beings. “Jesus looked at them and said, 'For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible'” (Matthew 19:26). A 15-year-old Carlo Acutis was one of those ordinary people who lived a life of heroic virtue. His devotion to the Holy Eucharist is commendable and something all of us Catholics ought to aspire to. From when he received his First Communion at the age of seven, until he died, he never missed daily Mass. In his short life, he was able to put together a fantastic collection of the miracles of the Holy Eucharist which took place in different times throughout history and which continue to bring many souls closer to God. Venerable Servant of God, Carlo Acutis, pray for us!
